Year Ahead is a redesign concept for astrology app Co-Star that turns its paid Year Ahead report from an overlooked add-on into a product people understand at a glance and want to read.

Instead of selling the report through features, Year Ahead lets the writing make the case. Users swipe through a preview of the report: their chart, the five seasons ahead, key dates, and what’s to come. Each page is paired with a line from their own reading, so by the time they reach “Read the rest · $11.99,” they’ve already been moved by it.
